Awesome 24 hr service! We used our Outsurance app(kudos, as usual, to Outsurance for this awesome function! ) and they sent through a bid. Richard was our guy and sorted the problem in no time and the owner was in constant communication with us - absolutely excellent service. QUESTIONS

If you notice a leak in your geyser, it’s important to take immediate action to prevent further damage and ensure safety.

Safety First:

Turn off the power supply to the geyser. Switch off the circuit breaker or disconnect the power. 

Water Supply:

Turn off the water supply to the geyser. There should be a shut-off valve on the water supply line leading to the geyser. Turn it clockwise to shut off the water.

Call East Rand Plumbing for same day geyser repairs.

It is recommended to have an annual inspection. This may involve checking the heating element, thermostat, and pressure relief valve.

East Rand Plumbing offers same day geyser replacements. We make use of Kwikot geysers.

They provide you the consumer with a 5-year warranty and they have an excellent warranty division where if the geyser bursts within 5 years they will send out a team to take care of the problem at no cost to you.

Signs that your geyser needs repairs include no hot water, inconsistent water temperature, visible leaks, unusual noises like popping or hissing, rust or corrosion on the tank, a circuit breaker frequently tripping, reduced water flow, and discoloured water. 

For a straightforward replacement of an existing geyser, the installation might take a few hours. This includes disconnecting the old unit, installing the new one, and ensuring proper electrical connections.
